The Phoenix: Day 1

It's a drawing challenge! I have no real intention of completing EVERY day, but I will work toward at least 280 (sickness happens as do vacations).

The first day's prompt is "Phoenix." I used quilling artist Yurya Brodskya art as inspiration.

I did a gouache background and a Zentangle-inspired bird.
